Set on the water's edge overlooking beautiful and historic Boykin Mill Pond, the restaurant offers the finest in American regional cuisine in an atmosphere of casual charm.

Featuring an array of low-country seafood specialties and certified Black Angus beef, favorites also include marinated rack of lamb, pork tenderloins and cornmeal crusted grouper. The Mill Pond Steakhouse prides itself on its offering of perfect accompanying appetizers, side dishes and wine selections.

The restaurant occupies three connected buildings on the site of the original pre-Civil War post office and general store. A busy kitchen functions today in the old structure of the second post office, rebuilt in 1874. The former store, also rebuilt in the late 1800's, provides seating and libations for thirsty customers. A marble period ice cream counter serves as the restaurant's bar.

Tuesday through Saturday, the Mill Pond Steakhouse opens at 2:00 pm for beverages, appetizers and lighter menu items. Full dinner fare is served from 5:00pm - until.
